Elie Kisoka: France-DR Congo striker joins KVK Ieper on free transfer from KC Roos

France-DR Congo forward Elie Kisoka has joined Belgian side KVK Ieper on a free transfer from KC Roos, signing a deal until 30 June 2027.

The 24-year-old centre-forward arrives in Ieper after a spell in the United States with KC Roos and will wear the number nine shirt for his new club. His move strengthens the attack of the 3de Nationale VV A outfit ahead of the new campaign.

Born in Lille and right-footed, Kisoka is listed at 1.80m and is primarily deployed through the middle. He switches to Belgium after a series of free transfers across France and, most recently, to KC Roos in 2024.

Kisoka has built up experience in the French lower divisions, featuring in National 1, National 2 and National 3. His most productive spell in front of goal came in National 2 Group A, where he scored 10 times in 26 appearances, averaging a goal roughly every 105 minutes. He has also played in the Coupe de France and spent time in the NCAA Division I College Cup, adding a different competitive environment to his development.

Before his move to the United States, Kisoka represented clubs including Marignane G. FC, Athletico Marseille, Istres FC, ES Fosseenne and Chapelloise, regularly changing clubs on free transfers as he progressed through senior football.

Kisoka’s switch from KC Roos to KVK Ieper is confirmed as a permanent free transfer, with the forward now tied to the Belgian club until the summer of 2027.
