Nigeria winger Daniel Job has joined Dallas from Kongsvinger in a €4.5m move to Major League Soccer.
The 21-year-old left winger arrives in the United States after making 20 appearances for Kongsvinger during the 2026 season. Job scored seven goals and provided seven assists in the OBOS-ligaen, contributing to 14 goals in the Norwegian second tier.
He also registered one assist in a single NM-Cup appearance, taking his overall contribution for Kongsvinger to eight goals and assists combined across 21 competitive matches. Job started 90% of the league games in which he played and featured for 88% of the available minutes.
The move to Dallas marks another step in a rapid rise through Norwegian football. Job joined Kongsvinger from Sarpsborg 08 on 6 February 2026, arriving as a free transfer before establishing himself as a regular in the side.
Before that switch, he had spent time with Egersund on loan from Sarpsborg 08 during the 2024-25 season. He returned to Sarpsborg at the end of that loan spell and subsequently moved on to Kongsvinger.
Job began his senior career with Sarpsborg 08 after an earlier loan spell with the club, having previously been registered with Future PA. His recent run of form at Kongsvinger preceded his move into the MLS, where he will continue his career as a right-footed attacking player operating from the left wing.
The transfer takes Job from Norway’s OBOS-ligaen to the United States’ top division, with Dallas paying a fee substantially above his €1m market value. It also represents the first major move of his career outside Norway.
Born on 26 August 2005, Job is 1.74m tall and holds Nigerian nationality. He joins Dallas at 21 after a season in which he combined regular starting opportunities with a significant goal contribution in league competition.
Job has signed a contract with Dallas running until 30 June 2030, completing his move to the MLS club on 2 September 2026.
