Nigeria striker Charles Adah Agada has joined NK Orijent 1919 from NK Istra on loan, completing a move between two Croatian clubs on 3 August 2026.
The 19-year-old centre-forward’s loan runs until 30 June 2027. Agada will spend the 2026-27 season with Orijent, who play in Croatia’s Prva NL, after leaving Istra of the SuperSport HNL.
Agada was born in Otukpo, Nigeria, and joined Istra from Nigerian club Mavlon on 14 February 2025. The move to Orijent is his second recorded transfer since arriving in Croatia, and keeps him within the country’s professional football system.
The striker is 1.73m tall and has Nigeria as his nationality. His arrival gives Orijent a centre-forward who has previously been registered with a club competing in Croatia’s top division, although he has not made an appearance for Istra in the opening part of the 2026-27 campaign.
Agada’s current performance record for the season shows no appearances, goals or assists, with one possible league match recorded before his move. He now joins Orijent under a loan agreement that will take him through to the end of June 2027.
The transfer also includes a scheduled return to Istra at the end of the loan. Agada’s registration is due to revert to his parent club on 30 June 2027, bringing the temporary spell at Orijent to a close.
For Orijent, the deal adds a young Nigerian forward to their squad as they compete in the Prva NL. For Istra, it provides Agada with a move away from the club while retaining his registration beyond the loan period.
Agada’s previous Croatian club spell began after his move from Mavlon in February 2025. No appearances or goals are recorded for him in the available SuperSport HNL career statistics.
He will remain contracted to Istra as part of the loan arrangement, with the transfer formally completed on 3 August 2026. Agada has therefore switched from NK Istra to NK Orijent 1919 on loan until 30 June 2027.
