Brahim Konate leaves Zira FC to become a free agent

Brahim Konate, the France and Mali midfielder, has joined the ranks of unattached players after leaving Azerbaijani club Zira FC.

The 30-year-old central midfielder’s move away from Zira was completed on 3 August 2026, ending his time with the Premyer Liqa side. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the move.

Konate departs after representing Zira FC in Azerbaijan’s top flight. His departure leaves him available to join another club, with the experienced midfielder now no longer contracted to a team.

Konate is listed as a central midfielder and holds French and Malian nationality. He has completed his move away from Zira FC and is now without a club.
