Ayyoub Bouaddi has sent an emotional message of congratulations to Amal Tiznit after the club secured promotion to the Botola Pro D1 for the first time in their history.
The LOSC and Morocco midfielder, regarded as one of the brightest young prospects for the Lions de l’Atlas, recorded a video tribute to the team from his family’s hometown after their landmark achievement.
Amal Tiznit confirmed their place in Morocco’s top division on 21 July, coming through a tense play-off against Olympique Dcheira. Following a goalless first leg, the side from the Souss region earned the draw they needed in the return match in Berrechid, finishing 1-1 to clinch promotion.
That result means the club from the city of Tiznit will compete among the elite of Moroccan football for the very first time, a milestone that resonated deeply with Bouaddi.
Strong personal ties
Although born in Senlis, France, and raised in Lille, Bouaddi’s roots lie firmly in Tiznit. Both of his parents come from the city in central Morocco, located around 15km from the Atlantic coast.
His decision to address the club directly after their promotion reflected the importance of that connection and his attachment to the region and its team.
The 18-year-old chose to film himself for the occasion, sending a message to the entire club to salute what he recognised as a unique and historic step in their history.
Rising star for Morocco
Despite his age, Bouaddi already holds a significant status for both club and country. The LOSC midfielder made his debut for Morocco during the 2026 World Cup, where he impressed observers with his composure and maturity on the biggest stage.
His technical ability, reading of the game and calmness under pressure have quickly established him as one of the leading figures in the next generation of Lions de l’Atlas.
