Malik Opoola, the 21-year-old Nigerian right winger, has joined Italian club Bisceglie from Nocerina on a free transfer.
Opoola has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027 after switching clubs on 4 August 2026. He moves within Serie D, with Bisceglie competing in Group H and Nocerina in Group G.
The wide player arrives after one season with Nocerina, whom he joined from Carrarese on a free transfer in July 2025. His move to Bisceglie marks another step in a career spent largely in Italy’s lower divisions, where he has also represented Casarano and Brindisi.
Opoola has recorded 76 appearances, 20 goals and five assists across Serie D competitions. His record includes 45 appearances and 13 goals in Serie D – H, 28 appearances and seven goals in Serie D – G, and three appearances in Serie D – B. He has also scored in the Coppa Serie D, Viareggio Cup, Meisterrunde and Serie D play-offs.
The Nigerian began his senior career with Valle Giovanili before moving to Brindisi in August 2022. He later joined Carrarese on a free transfer in August 2023, although his time at the club included loan spells with Brindisi and Casarano.
He spent the second half of the 2023-24 season with Brindisi on loan from Carrarese, making a further temporary move to Casarano for the 2024-25 campaign. Opoola returned to Carrarese at the end of that loan before leaving for Nocerina in July 2025.
His career has also included experience in Serie C, where he made 11 appearances and scored once, as well as five appearances and three goals in the Viareggio Cup. He has remained primarily an attacking player on the right side, with his strongest statistical output coming in Serie D.
Bisceglie have now completed the free-transfer signing of Opoola, with the winger’s agreement at the club secured through June 2027.
