Barcelona have asked La Liga to move the start of their women’s Spanish league match against Real Madrid because of deteriorating weather conditions.
The fixture is scheduled for Sunday, 4 October, with kick-off originally set for 18:00. Barcelona would like the match to begin an hour later, according to Sport.
The Catalan club is seeking the extra time to help ensure the game can be played in the most suitable conditions.
Barcelona manager Pere Romeu said he had not been informed of any change to the scheduled kick-off time.
Barcelona are top of the league after winning all 5 of their matches, while Real Madrid are second with 13 points.
