Adem Zorgane to Olympiacos: Union SG’s Algerian midfielder linked with Super League switch

Algeria international Adem Zorgane, currently at Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium, is being linked with a move to Greek champions Olympiacos in the Super League 1.

The 26-year-old central midfielder only joined Union SG last summer from R Charleroi SC, costing the Brussels club around €4.3m, and is under contract until 30 June 2029. Any talks are therefore expected to be complex, with the Belgian side in a strong position to negotiate and the player’s current market valuation standing at about €12m.

Zorgane has established himself as a key figure in the Jupiler Pro League across recent seasons, making more than 140 league appearances in Belgium’s top flight and contributing a steady stream of goals and assists from midfield. He has also featured in the Champions League, adding European experience that would appeal to Olympiacos as they look to reinforce the heart of their team.

Before his move to Union SG, the Setif-born midfielder spent four seasons at Charleroi after arriving from Paradou AC in his homeland, building up further top-flight experience in both Algeria and Belgium. His development in Brussels has coincided with Union SG’s rise, and he helped the club lift the Belgian Cup in 2026.

With three years remaining on his deal, Union SG are under no pressure to sell, and any transfer to Piraeus remains at the rumour stage, with no agreement in place between the clubs.
